Abstract
The article presents the results of scientific research on the characteristics of growth and reproduction of Cyprinus carpio, common in the Aidar-Arnasay lake system. 18 samples aged 2+ - 3+ were used in this experiment; body length l=24.0-31.3 cm (on average, l=27.3±8.6 cm), which were collected during 2019-2023. The coordinate points of the sample collection site and the map of the geographic information system are shown. The coefficient of variation of morphometric parameters of individuals from Lake Tuzkan ranged from 3.09 to 18.54 % (6.62±0.74 %). A relationship was found between body length and weight of female individuals (r=0.426). In the course of observations of the female's fecundity, a correlation was found between individual absolute fecundity and body length (r=0.256), as well as between individual absolute fecundity and their body weight (r=0.438). It was observed that in the Aidar-Arnasay system of lakes, individuals reach sexual maturity earlier, namely at the age of 2+ - 3+ years and with a body length of l=19.5-20.0 cm. The ratio of the occurrence of males and females in the population was studied. Comparison of ecological characteristics of individuals, such as individual fecundity and the effect of water temperature on spawning, when compared with representatives of this species from other countries.
